BUSINESS ANALYST INSTRUCTORS
Description
The Boston University Corporate Education Center offers corporate and professional seminars and certificate programs for individuals and organizations in business, technology, and professional fields.
We are growing our business and are currently looking for top-notch instructors and consultants to teach and consult in our business analyst and IT certificate programs. Qualified instructors should have the following experience:
Required Experience/Skills
- 5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst on OO projects using UML and a CASE (modeling) tool
- 3+ years experience working with use cases and experience running requirements gathering sessions with users. Expertise in use case diagrams, basic and alternate flows, UML conventions, and activity diagrams
- 5+ years as a project manager or project lead on IT projects managed with an iterative methodology employing use cases - such as RUP or MSF
- Experience in process improvement, as well as in interviewing and reconciling views of stakeholders using workflow analysis
- Experience in IBM Rational ROSE is strongly preferred, but experience using other UML tools will be considered
- Prior training experience is a MUST! Domestic travel may be required.

We are currently seeking a Corporate Account Executive for MA, NY and NC markets. If you have an aggressive sales record, are comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization, feel comfortable giving presentations and are able to sell across a variety of industries, this is a position with great growth potential.
The Boston University Corporate Education Center provides high quality training in Management Development, Project Management, Information Technology and Professional Education programs for corporations and individuals at company sites and through our network of affiliates throughout the country. Through our relationship with prestigious universities such as: University of Houston, Teachers College, Columbia University (CEO&I) and Duke University, we are growing our sales force. As a result, we are currently seeking several Corporate Account Executives. The CAEs will pursue sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals and inbound leads to meet or exceed monthly sales goals. Through consultative solution selling, the CAEs will analyze customer needs, make presentations and close accounts. BUCEC offers a virtual office environment.

Responsibilities:
- Target corporate decision-makers with influence over the decision to outsource company training needs, both public and private on-site
- Utilize prospecting and networking lead generation activities to penetrate new accounts and build a book of new business from a non-existing installed base
- Build and leverage relationships from within an account and gain referrals
- Interact effectively with all levels of an organization, across business functions, and a variety of industries including: Technology, Financial/Insurance, Energy, Manufacturing, BioTech/Pharma
- Develop business and territory plans; provide monthly updates to reflect strategies to successfully achieve territory quota
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to reflect current and projected revenue, as well as client activity
Experience and Skills Required:
- 5+ years consultative sales experience targeting large fortune 1000 firms
- Proven success and overachievement of assigned sales metrics: cold calling and prospecting, demos/presentations, and revenue goals
- Success developing and managing a territory with few initial clients
- Demonstrable experience with developing, maintaining and growing large customer accounts
- Understanding of Solution/Consultative Selling
- Excellent ability to communicate and present at all levels within an organization
- Exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers
- Team player, positive attitude
- Efficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- College degree highly preferred

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Description
The Boston University Corporate Education Center provides high quality training in Management Development, Project Management, Information Technology and Professional Education programs for corporations and individuals at company sites and through our network of affiliates throughout the country. The Boston University Corporate Education Center is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative. This position serves to advise prospective students about the most appropriate training programs. The successful candidate will qualify incoming inquiries, conduct outgoing cold calls, register students and develop leads for future business. This position is based in Tyngsboro, MA.
Required Experience/Skills
- 3-5 years of related inside sales experience.
- Experience with phone sales to include prospecting and telemarketing.
- A proven track record of success.
- Technical or educational sales a plus.
- BS/BA preferred.
